Yarn Along – Feather and Fan

Yarn Along
~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here.~ This is how Lisa begins her blog, Small Things, on Wednesdays.

Many of the wonderful items, knitted or crocheted,
I see get added to my someday list.
Books and authors, new to me, peak my interest.

Feather and Fan or Old Shale pattern is an easy
yet not a boring pattern to knit.
I  love the way it finishes.
I started this on in December, 2016
and finished it last week.
I was hoping for last Wednesday
so I could tell you about it,
but late at night I knew I’d never make it.

I borrowed Old Shale tablecloth pattern.
I love circle afghans.
I think I’ll do this one again someday.

Ravelry notes

I am trying a very NEW thing for me –
ONLY ONE knitting/crocheting project at a time.

Next WIP to complete is this beatiful orange/brown
Rings of Change by Frank O’Randle,
approved by Buster.

Ravelry notes

Currently listening to Unspoken by Dee Henderson

I’m joining with other knitters/crochetiers here.

  1. Wow! What an amazing project! I love Feather and Fan too; it always looks so effective. I also have real trouble keeping to only one project, especially if it is a big one. Good luck!

  2. I’ve been trying to do the same thing….finish a few things and work on a single thing at a time. If I had finished something as beautiful as this feather and fan…..I’d really be motivated to continue finishing things!!! (I’m working on a rather boring and dull scrappy blanket….that is DOOMED for the UFO pile real soon!!!!!)
